Pete is widely recognized as one of the true innovators in architecting cognitive application solutions in healthcare. Pete has 38+ years of IT experience in Aerospace, Insurance, Retail and has patented solutions for security, systems development and deployment.
Pete is the former Executive Architect and the Principal Architect for IBM’s Watson Solutions division. Prior to working with Watson, Bouchard was a principal architect for IBM’s Health Care and Life Sciences organization using IBM technologies to solve complex health care problems. At IBM, Pete earned the prestigious title of Distinguished Engineer, one of the top technical honors an employee can receive at the company and is regarded as one of the world’s most experienced and proven experts in design and implementation of complex software solutions, design and development methodologies and solution deployment.
Pete earned a degree in Software Engineering from the University of New Haven, a degree in Management Information Systems, a BS in Health Systems Administration Degree with Distinction and an MBA Management & Business Organization from the University of Connecticut.
Pete is Chief Innovation Officer and Architect for WhiteHatAI Corporation. Before co-founding WhiteHatAI, Pete held several positions at IBM over a 16-year period including Principal Architect and Distinguished Engineer for Watson Commercialization, Distinguished Engineer and Chief Architect for Prepay Fraud Analysis, Distinguished Engineer and Principal Architect Healthcare and Life and Distinguished Engineer and Trusted Advisor in conjunction with WellPoint, Inc. Pete has also served as the Chief Architect for Member Services for Aetna and Senior Architect at The Hartford.
